PROBLEM STATMENT
The home improvement industry lacks a convenient and trustworthy platform for homeowners to find, hire, and collaborate with skilled contractors. This disconnect often results in frustration, delayed projects, and subpar workmanship.
IDEA AND CONCEPT
Brainstormed ideas and developed a concept centered around a user-friendly platform that connects homeowners with pre-verified contractors. The core principles included transparency, trustworthiness, and ease of use.
THE USER EXPERIENCE &
USER INTERFACE
User journeys were mapped to streamline the process for both homeowners and contractors. Conducted usability testing, refining the design based on user feedback. Iterations improved the onboarding process and clarified the steps for homeowners to post projects and for contractors to bid on them.
Crafted a visually appealing interface that instills confidence in users. The color palette emphasizes trust and professionalism, while clear typography ensures readability. The UI design focused on intuitive navigation, with easily accessible sections for homeowners and contractors.
